Early Bird Scholarship Deadline: First-time freshmen applicants who submit or mail all credentials by September 1 and are fully accepted will automatically receive a $500 scholarship to be applied toward tuition during the 2008-2009 academic year. Contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for details.

Submit application documents: Receive a decision and notification of scholarships on November 15.

Early Decision Notification: Decision letters and notification of scholarships mailed to applicants with a complete Admissions file by this date.

Early Notification Enrollment Deposit Due- SAVE $50!!! Your $125 enrollment deposit by this date confirms your place in the fall class and puts you in the communication flow for new students. Those accepted through early notification have the opportunity to save $50 off their $125 enrollment deposit when paid by December 15. Your $75 enrollment deposit must be postmarked by December 15 to qualify. Enrollment deposits are refundable through May 1 when requested in writing and postmarked by the deadline.

Housing Contract: Submit your request for housing along with your enrollment deposit to be given first choice for room assignments among new student requests.

Request your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): The FAFSA may be submitted as soon as your previous year’s tax information is available or by using estimated information. Submit your FAFSA to the Department of Education by the end of February for priority consideration. Request your PIN at www.pin.ed.gov and apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov for faster service. Only accepted students are packaged for financial aid so please make sure to adhere to admissions application deadlines.

Honors Program Fellows/Presidential Scholarship Application Deadline: Applications/Informational brochures are available by contacting the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Only applications hand delivered or postmarked to the Admissions Office by January 15 will be considered.

Priority Decision Notification: Decisions and notifications of scholarships are mailed to applicants with complete files by this date. Candidates are given priority consideration for admissions, scholarships and other financial aid. NOTE: Applicants applying for federal student aid should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after January 1 as possible.

Preliminary course schedules sent to accepted students: Preliminary class schedules titled Prescriptions for Success are mailed to accepted students for their input before a final schedule is determined. The preliminary schedule should be approved or modified and returned within three weeks of receipt.

Enrollment Deposit Due: Your $125 enrollment deposit should be postmarked by this date to secure any scholarships awarded and your place in the fall 2008 class. Candidates submitting applications and/or enrollment deposits for the fall term after this date may be placed on a waiting list. Enrollment deposits are refundable through April 1 when requested in writing and postmarked by the deadline.
